Tom Alesia

Tom is a former newspaper writer in Madison, Springfield, Ill., and Wausau, Tom joined the Lakeview staff after serving as coordinator for the southwestern Wisconsin chapter of the Autism Society. He’s a longtime member and volunteer at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church on Madison’s near south side. A suburban Chicago native and Indiana University grad, Tom has been married to his wife Susan since 1991. They have one son. Tom is a cancer survivor of nearly 13 years. He remains active as a long-distance runner, having completed 15 marathons, including a personal best time of 3 hours and 16 minutes in 2009 and the 2010 Boston Marathon.
