Pastor Kirst

Pastor Kirst was called to Lakeview in November 2001.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, all from the University of Wisconsin.  He earned his Master’s Degree in Divinity from Wartburg Seminary in 1997.

 

 Pastor Kirst’s previous career experience has included public and private work with child and family services/counseling and numerous years providing services to people living with cognitive/developmental disabilities.  He has also taught adjunctly at area colleges.

 

He previously served at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie.  Pastor Kirst’s favorite events at Lakeview include the annual Vacation Bible School program, the summer high school youth trip, the winter middle school retreat, Easter weekend and having the opportunity to share the gospel every week during worship.

 

He is not a fan of Lutefisk but enjoys pouring coffee at the annual dinner anyway!
